Mend & Mingle
Event Location:
Shop S15C, Heath Hong Kong
Everyone is welcome to Salvaged’s first rehome warming, an experimental community clothing sorting experience. This is an opportunity to bring along garments you’re looking to rehome on the day. Based on the condition, you will be eligible to sell, mend and keep, or trade with fellow attendees, meeting fellow thrifters along the way. There will also be a small mending station to do basic stitches on items needing some TLC, as well as a limited edition collection of Salvaged 1-of-1 vintage pieces to buy on the day.
Every person who registers will receive a Salvaged mend & repair kit (while stocks last!), which comes with a needle, thread, measuring tape, stain removal, and other tidbits to responsibly mend a clothing item. This is perfect for beginner shoppers and avid thrifters alike looking to shop more consciously, learn to do basic mending to their existing items, or meet more conscious dressers! All vibes, zero waste!

About the founder:
Laila is a designer born and raised in Hong Kong. Determined to save (clothing) lives, she left a career in environmental consulting to pursue Salvaged, a thrift concept determined to source locally, uplift local designers and thrift stores, and make sure all clothing that goes through the system gets ‘salvaged’.
