”Soul dance” 是70年代日本年輕人對於美國黑人文化派對舞蹈的稱呼 。

@ming_apex is a passionate street dance enthusiast who actively participates in local street dance community and party, specialising in Popping and Locking dance. Also co-founded @_dd9m_ with a group of dancers, organising various DJ & Live Music Parties, Battles, and other events. Hopes to explore the greater possibilities between dance and music.

Workshop | Basic Groove, Connections between Music and Dance

This class is for everyone who LOVE SOUL FUNK DISCO MUSIC and LOVE PARTYING. This class will introduce you more ways of groove with 60s-70s music, and how to find your own groove.

“Soul dance” originated from the Japanese fascination with African American culture in the 1970s, particularly the “Party dance” aspect.
