Naveen G - Keeper of 5 (2003): Eerie Theories Mix on this one…. introspective and excellent production on this progressive breaks/house one. Buy on sight!
Nubian Mindz Feat KJ - Casablanca (2003): ‘Dreaming’ is a bit of a secret weapon, killer baseline. This is the dreamiest deep house record we have in stock.
Inertia - Vellum (2000): *Excellent* progressive house/trance. A pretty awesome track as featured on Dave Seaman’s “Cape Town” Global Underground CD set. Both mixes work! This is the kind of euphoric and building progressive that you might hear at a BTD Season Opening party for example :'-)
Madison Ave - Don’t Call Me Baby (2008): THIS IS A CLASSIC, samples Pino D’Angio ‘Ma Quale Idea’, if you know you know. This is the unofficial promo remix release. Funky, upbeat, house anthem. Cheesy but oh so good. Could this be considered a feminist anthem of the time?
DJ Minx - Untitled (no year): We are huge fans of DJ Minx and her label ‘Women on Wax Recordings’. A Detroit luminary and somebody who has always fought for respect for women in music. In our humble opinion, this one (her first) is her best release! Highly sought after, amazing Detroit house. Sophistication is funkier and brighter, and the B side is floatier and more introspective.
Dana Byrd - Your Love (2001): Buy now on sight. This is future vintage, the perfection of vocal deep house, with Pal Joey and Danny Krivit mixes. Buy!!!!
David James - Always 2008 (2008): Hypnotic, off kilter, a little disturbing tech house, definitely sexy and hypnotic and perfect for the afters when everyone is off their face and you blow their minds w this one.
Freaky Chakra vs. Single Cell Orchestra - self titled (1996): Really freaky breakbeat electro, as the artist implies. Love the ambient edges of A side, and honestly B side is our jam, early breakbeat at its best.
Peshay - Truly (1999): Honestly we haven’t heard much drum n bass like this. Guitar licked melodies dubbed out, some other effects thrown in, it’s very good. We prefer the A side (no vocals).
Tom And Jerry - Maxi (Mun) Style (Nasty Jungle Remix) (1995): This one is really rare and sought after. You know good jungle if you see the Tom and Jerry label. It’s early jungle and drum n bass, stripped down and the melodies are straight up gorgeous. This one is for the collectors, the heads, the lovers…. it’s an investment but it’s worth it if you love it.
