We are excited to bring you the return of STEPS, our annual seasonal takeover of La Cabane Wine Cellar. We transform their wine cellar into a record store, put DJs up in the attic, and throw a fun steps party for all of you to enjoy. It's going to be this Saturday at 10 Shin Hing Street, and it's free + open to the entire public so you can bring your children, pets, friends and family! 

Since it has been a long time since we have thrown a pop up market in Hong Kong, and we've recently re-stocked with lots of new (old) records, we have some specific recommendations for you all. We will be restocking daily up until the 13th and there will be special 12" crates for the DJs!

📌Rico & C - Chiquita - After enormous demand from collectors on Discogs, this record was reissued with the famous instrumental version but also some updated remixes from our friends from No Frills in Berlin. It’s a DJ weapon, with a modern approach to a fun Italo sound. If you came to BTD last weekend, you heard this one! So far as we know, nobody else in Asia or HK is stocking this one - we have copies from the source just for our friends (you all).

📌Fashion - Streetplayer/Mechanik - More leftfield synth pop than this you cannot find. Dubbed out to the max, 80s effects coming in, and the melodies are larger than life. Going straight into the DJ bag.

📌Junko Yagami (八神純子) – The Best (ザ・ベスト) - AOR jazz vibes, city pop, and a dash of latin jazz flair. We love B2, very lush and tropical feeling and truly showcases Junko’s vocals in an emotional and beautiful way. B3 is gorgeous soul/funk strut. B6 is a great cover of ‘You Oughta Know By Now’.
